Golden Delicious Apple Spirit 750ml

Often referred to as the “Orchid’s Elixir”, our Triple Three Golden Delicious is an artisanal apple spirit that pays homage to a rich tradition of European distillation. Expect to sip a delicate vanilla-like softness, exuding the luxurious and unmistakable essence of Golden Delicious apple flavour, finished with a touch of crisp acidity.

Our hand-crafted process begins by carefully selecting the freshest and juiciest golden delicious apples, to crush down and ferment into a traditional apple cider. Once rich in aroma and colour, the cider is then distilled in our heirloom copper potstills to create a spectacularly soft and smooth apple spirit. The precious liquid is then further aged in French oak for 4 years. When ready for careful scrutinization by third generation master distiller Rolf, the golden liquid is then blended into what you see in the bottle today.

Appearance
A vibrant amber-gold colour.

On The Nose
Notes of freshly baked apple, rich with hints of sweet caramel, spice, cinnamon and nutmeg. The nose finishes in a soft smokey character with a light vanilla undertone.

On The Palate
A warm and comforting, nutty, woody character, heightened with a sweet “Christmas spice” undertone. On the finish, a complex and lingering aftertaste of pungent golden delicious apple, with a touch of crisp, granny smith-like acidity.
